The packaging says that they are free. But the games are free anyway. You only have to pay for the games if you want them to be ad-free.
Now when I buy the controller that has advertising on it, what do you mean? Are the games now ad-free or not? Can't it be that none of you who want to sell me the controller can tell me? Come on guys...

The titles in the SEGA Forever collection support the following controllers standards:

• MFi controllers for iOS devices
  
• HID controllers for Android devices
  
  

If
the controller you are using conforms to these standards but still
doesn't work correctly, please send us full details of the controller
and device you are using and we will have the development team
investigate.

Leute, ich weiss mein Englisch ist nicht perfekt. Aber was ist aus dieser Wel nur geworden. bei mir auf der Arbeit, Pathologie, IT Abteilung, ist sowas den ganzen Tag vertreten... ich kotz echt ab

Thank you for getting in touch. To clarify on your concern, you still need to purchase the ad free version of the game even if you purchase the Sega Saturn Bluetooth Controller.
When you make a purchase in the game, it removes all third party ads - unless you specifically select to view one for an in-game bonus - but you will still see news about SEGA games.
