    • Zu viele bekannte Monster und Areale sind im Trailer zu sehen. Das gefällt mir nicht so, ich hoffe es bietet viel mehr neues, sonst wird es in meinen Augen nur ein 4 Ultimate +.

-One of the main focuses was having a system that brings the possibilities of using the same weapons with different play-styles.

-The plans for Monster Hunter X began sometime around the production of Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate. Capcom wanted to bring out more of a “festive” feeling that’s not in Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate, so they decided to bring back villages from past titles, and add four main monsters, instead of the usual one-per-title.

-The “Hunting Style” is a system that was made to bring out more possibilities from each weapon.

-Capcom originally thought about adding a new weapon type. While that would’ve given Monster Hunter X a decent selling point, it would’ve been a lot of work, and would have required more of a focus on the new weapon(s). Instead, the team decided to focus on the player’s “attachment to the weapon” as a concept.

-Hunting Styles come in four forms. One is the basic style seen in the past. The second lets you set more “Hunting Arts” than usual, along with more showy and offensive actions. The third one specializes in mid-air fights, which also lets you jump off monsters for special attacks and more. Finally, the fourth one is a style with the theme of “turning a pinch into an opportuniy.”

-Hunting Arts came from the idea of giving players more of their own unique characteristics. There are several Arts, and these may vary depending on how they’re used. Some of them will work better with certain Hunting Styles, so players will get to mix and match to their liking.

-Hunting Arts range from special attacks that deal major damage to enemies, or heals that recover allies, and buffs that support your party.

-Capcom have prepared numerous Hunting Arts for each weapon, but there are also some “basic Hunting Arts” that can be used with any weapon, and you’ll get to choose from them all.

-The four main monsters won’t simply appear over time as you advance through the game with one being stronger than the other, but they’re actually all along the same rank. They’re called the “Elite Four” among the developers.

-Dinobaruto is the one they showed this time, and the idea behind it came from the thought of “hey, let’s make a land-type Rathalos.” While Dinobaruto uses fire attacks, it doesn’t fly, and focuses more on its actions on the ground. It has the image of a monster that would’ve lived back in the “world of dinosaurs.” With its tail and attack characteristics, it has a bit of a knight and swordsman’s feeling to it, and is the more orthodox monster of the four main monsters.

Und weiter geht es in Sachen Monster Hunter.
Aufgrund meiner knappen Zeit (Frühstückspause) die Meldung im englischen Original:

      Capcom PR-Meldung schrieb:

ondon, UK — March 3, 2016 — Capcom, a leading worldwide developer and publisher of video games, announced Monster Hunter Generations™ for Nintendo 3DS™ family systems during today’s Nintendo Direct broadcast. Coming in summer 2016 and initially released in Japan as Monster Hunter X, the western release of Monster Hunter Generations is the newest installment in the popular action RPG series, which has sold more than 36 million units worldwide. The title which will be distributed by Nintendo of Europe, is the most customizable Monster Hunter™ experience to date, and serves as a fitting tribute to the last decade of the series. A blend of brand new areas and monsters join returning fan-favorites which have been updated and adapted to the latest generation of gameplay.

In Monster Hunter Generations, players take up the esteemed role of a hunter, seeking out and vanquishing a variety of colossal creatures throughout the world. Players can earn money and collect resources that can be used for crafting powerful weapons and armor which are styled after the monsters they have defeated. On their journey, players must defend each of the game’s four villages from the threat of major new menaces known collectively as the Fated Four.

This latest installment marks the debut of new gameplay mechanics such as Styles and Hunter Arts which allow players to create the most custom, personalised playstyle of any Monster Hunter game yet. Players can choose from four distinct combat Styles, like Aerial which adds the ability to attack and mount monsters from mid-air. With the introduction of devastating new attack skills and power-ups known as Hunter Arts, the action looks more visually striking than ever before on Nintendo 3DS.

For the first time in the series, players will have the ability to now play as a Felyne themselves in the new Prowler Mode. In this mode, there are even more adventures to be had in unique quests playing either as a Felyne alone or with up to three other companions in group quests. With hundreds of quests in store for hunters and Felyne’s, there are tons of challenges to tackle in the solo adventure, and also multiplayer quests via local wireless or online play, opening up the epic world of Monster Hunter to players of all levels.

As part of the Nintendo Direct today, it was also announced that Monster Hunter Generations will feature a unique armor set based on Marth from the strategy RPG series Fire Emblem. Fans can look forward to this and more collaborations for special themed gear for both hunters and their custom Felyne support partners known as Palicoes.
