Pandemonium schrieb:

Greetings "XXXX"
I have been informed by a very close friend in the games industry that you were a part of the unfortunate and appalling project Saber Rider. There are quite a few of us now and we would be very interested in seeing what you did on the project and hearing your thoughts on the "game" and the man responsible for this terrible situation.
His reputation for falsehood and deception is quite widely known in the German scene, with many people having first hand experience or knowing someone who has.
I believe it is possibly time for the full story to emerge and the industry in general to be told about him and his selfish and unprofessional behaviour, so any information you can share would be greatly appreciated.
The Nintendo and Dreamcast magazines would almost certainly be interested, especially for the benefit of all the poor and unfortunate people who pledged on a project that was doomed before it even started.
He seems to think he can hide forever but his location is known and it is only a matter of time before he is called to answer for his actions.
All information regarding your design input and involvement along with your experiences and/or thoughts on the project would be most helpful.
Regards
Simon

Hello again
I am curious as to why you want information regarding Chris?
You worked very briefly for free, you say.
Can you show what you designed please?
Do you have a website?
When did you do this work?
And why are you contacting people about this project?
Simon

Hello again again...
Simon, you always ask me things. that is very one-sided. Now it's your turn. Please answer me a few questions.
Do you have an address from Chris? How much money does he owe you? What have you already collected for info about him.
---------------------------------------------------------------
Hi
To answer your questions: Yes, none and lots.
Your turn now.
Simon
---------------------------------------------------------------
Is that a joke?
Ok, please do not contact me again.
---------------------------------------------------------------
Hello again.
I just wondered if you knew anything about this?

Take care Chris

learn german, then you will find out
---------------------------------------------------------------
I was simply wondering if you could stop pretending to be somebody else and just be honest about what happened with the project and why it finally failed.
Once the initial errors were made and you had found other artists and coders, surely you could have completed the game?
Why did that not happen?
If there are true and honest reasons then that would be an end to the matter, but the general consensus of opinion among those involved with the project and those who pledged is that the money went somewhere other than into game development.
Putting an explanation online could calm some of those who feel they have lost money and clarify matters where there are doubts about use of finances.
It would draw a line under the issue and allow everyone to move on.
But I doubt this will happen.

Dude, I’m not Chris Strauß. If you thinking that, then you have a real huge problem. I am one of the guys who will bring him down. I explained my intensions multiple times. But you are a real crazy guy. You don’t understand or you don’t want understand. And this is really my last conversation With you. maybe you should better do your homework.
Bye
---------------------------------------------------------------
You haven't explained any intentions. You simply said that people should know what has happened.
People DO know.
I know more about this project than you.
---------------------------------------------------------------
OK
Let's say that you are XXX and not Chris.
Why are you so set on bringing "him down"?
You did one small job and he never paid you.
If this is the case then you are just one of many people who did
not get paid. So why are you seeking to "bring him down" now when the project was dead virtually from the start.
Anyone with any game dev experience could see through the tales he would tell and know there was not enough money, there was no game design, no pipeline and no schedule.
So why are you so upset about not getting paid? There are people
who lost a lot more money and people who put in a lot more time on the development side and were treated much worse than you.
What exactly ARE your intentions?
To get legal action against him?
It will never happen.
Kickstarter doesn't care, the people who lost money will never
bring legal actions against him because for the most part they are
simply kids who know nothing about such things and could not afford it if they did. All they wanted was a game and that, as we know, never happened.
I am interested in the project for professional reasons as I am in
contact with many of those involved in the development of this
project.
I am still curious as to why you suddenly appear ten months after the announcement of the cancellation of the project?
