Marvelous Europe are excited to announce that the definitive version of the Nihon Falcom-developed RPG, The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel, will be released for the PlayStation 4 on the 29th March, 2019 both digitally, and physically in selected retailers, within Europe and Australia. A physical Limited Edition, known as the Decisive Edition, will also be exclusive to the Marvelous Games Store.

Originally released in Japan as Eiyuu Densetsu: Sen no Kiseki on the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita, with an enhanced release on Windows PC shortly after, this PlayStation 4 release of The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel begins the adventure of Rean Schwarzer anew, and introduces Thors Military Academy’s specialised ‘Class VII’, with added features not found in any previous console releases.

For the first time in the series’ history, dual audio has been included, giving players the chance to enjoy the original Japanese voices, or play with the highly acclaimed English dub that includes more than 5,000 additional English lines of dialogue, previously available only in the Windows PC edition.

Marvelous Europe has also confirmed that downloadable content previously released for The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel will all come pre-bundled in this PlayStation 4 version of the game. Additionally PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita owners will be able to transfer their save game data to this PlayStation 4 version of the game; with transfer bonuses - such as new outfits and bond points - being awarded.

The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel II gives players the chance to continue an upgraded version of this brilliant JRPG adventure on the PlayStation 4. This new console version contains updated features not found in previous console versions of the game including dual voiceover options for either English or Japanese audio and additional recorded English dialog scenes. Other new features have been designed for returning players including the popular turbo mode option previously released in the PC versions of the series and in the recent PlayStation 4 release of The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel.

Players will also be able to pick up where the story left off, with the option to transfer save data from the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 or PlayStation Vita release of The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel to The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel II. Doing so will grant bonuses to those who accomplished various goals in the first title, allowing players to see the results of some of their earlier choices and accomplishments while playing the sequel. Fast 1,5 Jahre sind seit dem Erebonianischen Bürgerkrieg vergangen und vieles hat sich seit dem verändert. Ernsthaft?
Halte Teil 2 für durchweg besser als 1.

Und das ist gut so.
Wenn du Cold Steel 2 zu lang findest, spiel gar nicht erst DQXI. Verglichen damit ist CS2 ein Minigame.

Ich fand ja schon 1 geil, aber 2 ist imo noch deutlich besser. Allein schon, dass man endlich Bewegungsfreiheit hat und nicht die ganze Zeit über nur Orte besuchen darf, die das Game jetzt gerade vorschreibt.

Ab heute ist eine Demo im PSN Store zu haben.

Der Spielstand wird sich dann in die Verkaufsversion übertragen lassen.

Aber Achtung: Da man keine Trophies in Demos bekommt, sollte man einen Spieostand VOR dem Boss der Demo aufbewahren. Dann muss man den in der Vollversion besiegen für die entsprechende Trophy.

Ich bin jetzt 5 Std im Spiel und es macht wie erwartet Laune, allerdings habe ich fast schon vergessen gehabt, wie lang die Dialoge teilweise sein können.
