    • Tevez deal gets green light

      Reds transfer target Carlos Tevez has been given the all-clear to join United after West Ham confirmed that they have reached a settlement with the player's representatives.

      A statement on West Ham's website confirmed: "The settlement ends the current litigation taking place between the respective parties and provides for a £2million fee to be paid to West Ham United.

      "The agreement confirms that West Ham United do have a valid player's contract with Carlos Tevez and hold the registration of the player. This will be released once the agreed fee has been paid to the Club.

      The terms of the settlement are consistent with undertakings given by West Ham United to the Premier League and the rules of The Football Association."

      Hammers chairman Eggert Magnusson said: "I am obviously pleased that we have finally reached the end of this saga through agreement and common sense. All parties involved can now move on and truly focus on the new season.

      "I wish Carlos Tevez well for the next stage of his playing career. He is a fine player and I am sure he will be successful wherever he plays football."

      werden. Real-Trainer Bernd Schuster sagte: «Eine Verpflichtung von

    • Schon so geiler Kram direkt am ersten Spieltag... Chelsea tat sich gegen Aufsteiger Birmingham richtig schwer (3-2) und heute Mittag Arsenal - Fulham war auch der Hammer. Fulham ging nach 51 Sekunden in Führung (Lehmann hat Scheisse gebaut) und dann Arsenal völlig hardcore am drücken, tausend Chancen vergeben. Dann in der 82. verwandelt van Persie Elfmeter zum Ausgleich und paar Minuten später macht Hleb das 2-1, was waren die erleichtert :D Und Gerrard hat gestern schon ein sehr schönes Freistosstor gemacht!

      Die Saison wird sooo geil :love: Arsenal muss erstmal ohne Henry richtig klar kommen, bei Chelsea fehlen Terry und Drogba noch ne Zeit lang und auch der "Geheimfavorit" Tottenham hat's erste Spiel schon versaut...

    • Rooney suffers fractured foot

      Wayne Rooney suffered a hairline fracture in his left foot in United's goalless draw against Reading.

      The England striker was substituted at half-time after being caught by Michael Duberry as the Royals defender tried to block a shot.

      Although Rooney did briefly play on after receiving treatment, Sir Alex Ferguson opted not to risk any further injury by fielding him in the second half, and a post-match hospital scan has validated that decision.

      Immediately after the match, the United Manager told Sky Sports: “We’re waiting to see how the scan goes. We’ve sent him for a scan and hopefully everything’s ok.

      “It was painful, he couldn’t really stand on it. I don’t think it’s the same injury as the last, obviously we hope and pray that that’s the case.

      “But it was sore and it started to swell so there was no point in trying anything for the second half.”

      The result of Rooney's scan have worsened a frustrating opening day of the season, and as yet there is no timescale of his recovery.

      Diese Geschichte mit diesen ganzen Fussbrüchen bei Rooney ist imo schon sehr besorgniserregend, ist ja immerhin schon der dritte in seiner jungen Karriere.

    • Aua aua aua, Uniteds Fehlstart setzt sich weiter fort. Nach nem geilen 0-1 von Scholes gleicht Portsmouth in der 2.HZ aus. Dann rote Karte Portsmouth, zwei Minuten später rote Karte Ronaldo. Rooney bis Oktober weg, Ronaldo drei Spiele weg - es wird "lustig" :ray2:

      Und f*ckin' Chelski macht aus nem 1-0 Rückstand in Reading einen 1-2 Sieg :aha:

    • Tja, damit ist der Fehlstart wohl komplett. Wenn die wenigstens scheisse spielen würden, aber nein, ist alles prima. Nur die Chancenauswertung ist absolut dramatisch... traurig, nur traurig...

      Ich hab einfach keinen Bezug zur Bundesliga, abgesehen von Aachen. Bin als kleiner Junge oft in England gewesen da meine Schwester dort studierte, in der Nähe von Manchester, und dann bin ich an United hängen geblieben in den letzten 13 Jahren :D
