    • Bin ja jetzt an der 2. Season dran und mittlerweile ist auch der gute Mr.W alias Francis Walcott in Deadwood aus Yankton angekommen.

      Wie bescheuert ist es eigentlich die Rolle mit dem gleichen Schauspieler (Garret Dillahunt) zu besetzen der auch "the coward" Jack McCall in der ersten Season spielt? Ist mir sofort aufgefallen und stört mich schon sehr. Ich kann überhaupt nicht nachvollziehen warum das gemacht wurde?

      Kann es sein dass HBO Serien nur äußerst selten im Angebot sind? Rom Staffel 1 gabs mal für 15€ im Media Markt, aber Deadwood habe ich noch nie irgendwo günstig gesehen.


      könnte daran liegen das die meisten HBO Serien bei uns im TV gefloppt sind, und bestenfalls im PayTV bis zum Ende ausgestrahlt wurden. Daher wenig Nachfrage und somit auch kaum DVD Boxen im Handel.

    • Habe nur noch zwei Folgen vor mir, dann ist diese fantastische Serie LEIDER!!! zu Ende.
      Wirklich Schade dass nicht wenigstens noch die zwei versprochenen TV Filme zu Stande gekommen sind, mir wird jetzt schon Angst und Bange wieviele Plots da noch offen bleiben werden.

    • Tja das war ja zu befürchten, was für ein unbefriedigendes Ende dieser genialen Serie...

      SIX FEET UNDER got the best send off episode in the history of television. SOPRANOS ending was either great or awful (depending on one’s interpretation of it) but at least it got people talking. DEADWOOD—it just stopped. No ending. Just Stopped. It’s like never finding out that “Rosebud” was his sled or that Darth was Luke’s father. F***.

      The word "fuck" was said 43 times in the first hour of the show. It has also been reported that the series had a total count of 2980 "fucks" and a cumulative average of 1.56 utterances of "fuck" per minute of footage.
