wow, so even the other stuff people said they planned to do with Jaguar Doom code were all pretty much the wrong side of legal. That document could not be more clear. Educational use only. Use portions of code in developing your own code.

People have been working with Jaguar Doom for years but nothing has become of it. Belboz and ViMaster worked on Death Tongue, with Belboz making his own versions of tool for WAD building. Neo hacked Doom II levels into Jaguar Doom by hand (!), Matthias made a stripped-down "BJL" Doom that we've all seen. Attempting to make Jaguar Doom play Heretic levels and making a Jaguar-style box mock-up for the youtube video seems a little reckless and misleading as it cannot be put out legally. Showing it …

For me, it is a gimmick, it plays pretty disastrously Only there because the Falcon game did it. Pro Controller is better than spinner, but really, regular d-pad is all you need.

I haven't made a thread on AA yet so have not talked much about it, but I might as well do now since you guys have your own thread here. downfall+ is a 4MB ROM. It wouldn't work as a CD as it requires that 4MB of ROM space + the 2mb of Jaguar memory to make the magic of the backdrops happen. Matmook rewrote Ladybugged entirely using Raptor/RMotion but has not finished it. He gets very little time for Jaguar stuff and has other projects it seems he's more keen to work on (I think he was working on DDXSP for the recent RGC party). He used to visit the #dbug and #jagware irc channels quite a lot but not so much recently. Next time he appears I'll ask about LB.
